| Description: |
The position is responsible for the daily management of cargo flow across key shipping points. This is attained by accurate and timely submission of discharge and load information to vessel operators, rail operators, and marine terminals within the NY/NJ port jurisdiction. Successful candidate will be domiciled at terminal facility.

| Accountabilities: |
- Facilitate and insure the prompt connection of all modes of cargoes for APL and non-APL scheduled vessels.
Communicate as necessary with inbound and outbound customer service and cargo cleanup to insure cargo movement is accomplished as required, notating and monitoring for changes or problems that may affect cargo availability or prompt connections for our customers. Liaise with vessel operators, stevedores & terminals to insure Booking or loading information is provided in a timely manner. Liaise with vessel operators, stevedores and terminals to verify Bill of Laden container discharge. Provide required information internally to insure prompt availability of all inbound cargo to our customers. Reconciliation of vessels inbound and outbound volumes with TOS and update internal data base. Develop and nurture relationships to insure continued smooth business relations with stevedores, terminals, alliance partners, government agencies (CBP, USDA,) and APL customers.

| Qualifications: |
Bachelors degree or equivalent minimum 2 years experience in marine terminal environment, preferably with vessel operations and stevedoring exposure. Understanding of Government regulations pertaining to vessels entering US Ports. Working knowledge of APL operating systems. Working understanding of the ILA contract and contract administration. Strong PC skills
